Situated on a working hill farm, famous for its pedigree breed of New Zealand Romney sheep, The Bothy offers friendly, comfortable and peaceful accommodation for two people, with plenty of opportunities for exploring the famous book town of Hay-on-Wye, the Wye Valley, Offas Dyke footpath, Black Mountains and surrounding area.
The high-spec interior includes a double (or twin) bedroom with en suite shower room, W-Fi, a log-burning stove, well equipped kitchen/lounge leading onto a decked area with chairs and views across the valley, where you can enjoy watching the sun set with a glass of something nice in complete privacy.
If visitors wish, the kitchen can be stocked with fresh free-range eggs from our hens, fresh veg/salad from the garden, farm-baked bread and other essential items.
We'll do all we can so you enjoy a special break in the country.
The Bothy is situated above the village of Llanigon, 3 miles from Hay-on-Wye. We are 3.5 hours drive from central London, 45 minutes drive from Hereford or Abergavenny and 75 minutes from Cardiff.
